SnapLogger

SnapLogger is an inventory management system that removes the hassle out of taking inventory. It uses wireless tagging to automatically identify items and log their weights. The system is composed of three main components; a hub, a cloud database, and a smartphone application. The hub is comprised of a RFID reader and writer that identifies objects and initializes new ones, a scale that logs weight, and a WiFi and bluetooth module to communicate with the smartphone and cloud. The cloud stores the data and will eventually be used to perform machine learning predictions. The smartphone application can be used to track data, read tags, and create new items. SnapLogger is targeted towards the food industry and will allow professionals to spend less time doing administrative work and more time doing the things they love.
